Appreciate the character of the Cap Gris-Nez as you approach; walk around the CROSS (regional centre for surveillance and sea rescue) which watches over one of the busiest straits in the world. If you are lucky, you will see the English coast at its closest point.
The sea guides you as you approach Cap Blanc-Nez: if the tide is out, you will be able to stand facing these majestic cliffs, if the tide is high, you will be safe climbing the GR120 trail to an altitude of 130 metres with a stunning 360° view from the Baie de Wissant to Dunkirk, not forgetting the green countryside and valleys !
