Sea buckthorn
These orange berries contain a large quantity of vitamins. They are a fantastic larder for dune birds.
Beachgrass
Few plants can stand the difficult seaside conditions. Beachgrass is one of them! It finds the water it needs to survive by plunging its long roots several metres into the sand, and helps to stabilise the dunes.
Sea thrift
In May the Site des Deux-Cpas is covered in mauve flowers. Sea thrift spreads its flowers along the cliffs, but be quick - the show only lasts a couple of days.
Floristic inventory
Eden 62's nature guards are responsible for the protection and inventory of the species found in the natural areas of the Site des Deux-Caps.
Gorse
With its coconut perfume, just smelling the flowers of gorse takes you on a journey.
The fly-killer amanita
Easily recognisable with its red cap and white spots, the fly-killer amanita is a poisonous toadstool.
Dune thistles
This thistle thrives on our Côte d'Opale. It is even the emblem of the coastal conservatory.
