The volunteers of the Fort de la Crèche association share their passion for this fort, located south of Wimereux.

The renaissance of the battery de la Crèche started in 2002. Soon a small group of enthusiasts created an association and undertook the development of the site so that it could be visited by the public. Yves Laurenge, who became President of the Fort de la Crèche association in 2004, continually generates projects and initiatives.

"The objective of the Assocation is summarised by three concepts: "save, restore and bring to life" the Fort de la Crèche". This site is an integral part of the Boulogne area's history and its location provides a unique panoramic view of the coast.We are very happy to welcome you and share our passion with the Site des Deux-Caps visitors and residents during our guided tours.”
